Lets face it, the Hi-Def DVD format is dead and why Toshiba aren’t waving the white flag is beyond me. I don’t think anyone has told them in the months to come no decent films will be available on this format and if there are any further releases its more than likely to be from the porn industry (those guys will release there stuff on anything).But camp HD-DVD refuses to give up, they have now taken to slashing the price of there dead format player.You can now buy a fully featured HD-DVD player for under ‘£150 / $290’, although this is a bargain price do I have to think to myself why anyone would want to buy a player that is almost certainly going to be unsupported in the near future.
